When I joined Martin Training Associates and was introduced to the principles of New Matrix Management, Matrix Accountability and Cross-Functional Management, the content and related processes resonated deeply with me. As I brought these principles to our clients and saw that changing the old paradigms of functionally driven goals and authority based management was possible, I was more dedicated than ever to carry on this focus. Now as CEO, I am committed to sharing this paradigm with our clients and offering programs and services to build knowledge and capability, at every level of the organization to lead without authority, accept accountability and execute organizational strategy.
What makes me most proud about Martin Training Associates and our staff is our commitment to you as a partner in your success. It’s not our place to manage your business or tell you what solution will work for you. Every organization is different and our goal is to help you understand the systems and practices needed to operate the complex cross-functional matrix and work with you to implement the components your organization needs, when it needs it.

To ensure we do this in a way that fits your organization, we conduct a customized Matrix Readiness Assessment to help leaders identify the underlying causes of the challenges they are having with a particular key at a particular level. Once completed, we work together to identify the next step that will work best for you. Be assured, if that step is not something we offer, we will work with you to find the right provider so you’re needs are met.
Our training programs teach skills and give leaders and team members structured processes that help them work in the cross-functional organization, where working without authority is the primary way to achieve goals.
