Getting Started with Matrix Management 2.0™
New to matrix management? Or, do you need some help in moving your organization further down the road towards being a highly functioning matrix? Well, getting started on what we call the Matrix Management 2.0 journey is easy.
The first step is assessment – understanding what your organization needs? You’ve probably done some assessment yourself and determined that training is the solution. But we’ve found after doing this for 20 years, that before we launch into solutions, like matrix training, it’s important to really understand what’s going on in the organization and where the root causes of the existing problems really lie. To do this, we have two great options to help you and us better understand how far along the journey you are and determine how we help you get the biggest bang for your bucks.
Option 1 - Online Assessment
Have your leadership team complete our online assessment and we’ll provide you a report (data or detailed analysis) of what you’re already doing that doesn’t need to change and identify the things that need to be to improve work execution across the organization.
Option 2 - Self Assessment
Have the leadership team do a self-assessment as part of our Base Camp 2.0™ workshop program. It’s a highly interactive, experiential one-day program that not only educates leaders on the 5 keys to succeeding as a matrix organization, but also facilitates their assessment of the key challenges the organization is facing, the root causes of those challenges and the best solution for the organization. This program accomplishes two things: an awareness of new principles that need to guide how a matrix is led and buy-in and commitment to move forward on the journey to fixing whatever needs to be fixed.
