Workshop Overview
Learn a team-based, collaborative approach to project management that will improve your bottom line results. Intended for everyone in the organization, this hands-on, highly interactive workshop immerses participants in the simple, easy-to-use Martin Training C.O.R.E. PM method, with minimal lecture and maximum class involvement.
You'll learn how to create a charter and a project plan, and how to monitor project progress and control change. While working on a case study, or a project of your own, you'll learn how to apply this robust methodologies of the Project Managmement Institute, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, (PMBOK® Guide) - Fourth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2008 PMBOK® to your real-life projects. The knowledge you gain in this workshop combined with the discussion questions will help you relate what you've learned to your own real-life experiences.

Case Studies Available
There are four options for case studies :
- IT - This case study is oriented to the development of an e-commerce web site.
- NPD - This case study involves the development of a baby heart monitor.
- Generic - The development of community leaders is the generic case study.
- Client's Real Life Project(s) - Bring your own project and use it as the case study for the workshop. Get work done in real-time!
