Implementing a Project Selection Process
Course Overview
In order to create successful projects, an organization needs an effective project system. This includes a management team that functions as sponsors, a common project management methodology and a senior leader team that steers the portfolio of projects. This two-day workshop takes leaders through the steps of creating a project steering process. Managers experience through a game simulation what happens in an organization when there is no project steering system. They then walk through the basics of creating a steering process for the portfolio. This is a great workshop for introducing project management into an organization that does not yet have a project management discipline in place.
