CORE Skills in Team Development

Most project leaders focus on hard skills - defining scope, creating a schedule, establishing a budget - but at least half of the problems associated with projects are the result of inadequate team skills.

CORE Skills in Team Development focuses on improving the way people work together as a project team. Project team performance can be accelerated by focusing on the team process - how team members work together in order to accomplish the goals of the project.

This workshop helps project leaders

and project team members improve their skills in the following areas: communicating within the team and outside the team, making decisions as a team, avoiding conflict, understanding and working with diverse thinking and learning styles, resolving conflict, providing constructive feedback and running effective meetings.

You'll learn how to speed through the forming and storming stages more quickly by learning tools that can be applied either individually or in a collaborative team environment. This highly interactive workshop provides you with the tools you need to build new skills that can be applied immediately to you real project work with the project team you've been assigned. Augment your own team skills or bring your project team and do some team building as you all learn together.
